On Friday I taught a girl to sew. I taught her how to thread a needle, tie a knot in the thread, and sew buttons onto fabric and then I sent her home with a make shift sewing kit. She let me know on Monday that she sewed a gift for her grandmother this weekend. She was so excited. I was so excited. It was a feel good moment.
