It's hard you know, but through it I am becoming the person I never knew how to be by myself. Im being pushed, and sometimes I pout, but it's the best thing for me. I don't have the internal drive alone, I need a cheering squad, someone to set a fire under my ass. Im loving that I have that. Im proud of myself, of my accomplishments, of how much I can do, of who Im becoming. This is the real life, the life I wanted.

What I did for the long weekend

met some lovely people.

One morning we biked around fort Casey, being Lara Mae, I ended up crashing my bike in a ditch. Typical.

Ate delicious food, including this huge sausage.

If I had an orchard I'd work till I'm sore.

Fact:

Fact: Sharks cannot get sick. They are immune to all diseases, and cannot get cancer. Yes, you read that correctly, they cannot get cancer! Does this blow anyone else away. What the heck! Why aren't more people talking about this! Incredible.

Yesterday at work, two very special children came up to me separately and asked, "Lara, do you think the world is ending?" It was eerie.

A Study in Salmon

Went camping this weekend, and enjoyed some delicious, freshly caught, bbq'd salmon.
