Living for a Living, not Working for a Living.

So I've been in Vancouver for just under a week, and one thing that is slapping me in the face is how creative everyone I meet is. People draw and blog and knit and sew. They make leather bound books, and change purses, and write music and make posters. They have ideas and inspirations and they follow through with their genius. A lot of the people that I have been meeting dont have regular 9 to 5 jobs, and they dont seem to be thinking about their future, investing their money, buying property or having the biggest and best toys. Its refreshing. Its a little scary. But they are living, creating, and engaging. They have community and seem happy.

BTW, I totally know that there are people in Calgary, all over Canada and all over the world who are creative and lovely and doing their thing. Im just pleased to be invited into these peoples lives, as they are loving and welcoming and friendly. And that is something new for me.

I went to asia and all I got was some poetry

Ive learnt that pride comes before the fall, ive learnt that spiritual pride may be the worst of all.
Ive learnt how to give and receive love, and reconnected with life below and above.
Ive felt alone, and Ive felt scared. But through those times I became more aware.
Of God, of myself, and who I am not.
Ive relearned things, Ive already been taught.
Ive seen myself as an equal to the world.
Ive allowed my heart to soften; ive been unfurled.
Ive been low, Ive been high, and most everywhere in between
I opened myself up to fears previously left unseen.
Ive struggled and Ive basked in earthly paradise.
Ive let my body tell me when to sleep and when to rise.
Ive given myself over to this journey and this life.
In order to do the
best I can as a human, a woman, a wife.

Time moved differently back then

balance is. Not worrying about the future. The moment that you start worrying about the future, you stop your awareness of the present.

Just remember: You can not control what happens in the future. But you can guide it by focusing on why you are doing things in the present. As you focus on the day to day reasons that you do life's activities. You start to slow down your focus, and things become important again. The way things were important when you were a child, when everything was a lesson, a reminder. When you were using your intuition and feelings things out, and learning from your feelings. But to do that, you need to slow down. Slow down your actions, you thoughts, your feelings, your perceptions, your judgements, your arguments. Slow it down. Ask yourself Why? Are you satisfied with the answer? If it resonates with you, if your listening to and asking your heart, your spirit, love, god, the oneness. If your trying to do better, trying to evolve on some level. Thats all you need to do. Experience, Learn, Evolve.

Take it slow. Notice the little things.

Like the feeling of the sun, as it peeks at you to and fro with the wind.

Like heat. Hot on that spot above your eyebrow and the tip of your nose.

Or the sound. Of the wind, as it sings through the trees.

As it dances on the faces of the leaves.

And the clouds. Oh the clouds!

Majestic, and changing, and LIFE.

Thats the energy, thats the oness,

thats creation being created, and creating.

Thats Love, and God is love.

“Why do you ask the same questions every year?”, asked the student to Einstein: “because the questions stays the same, but the answers keep changing”

Inception

Have you ever been aware you're dreaming? You're in the middle of a koooky adventure with the complete awareness that you are sleeping in your bed, and this awareness allows you to control or contort or re-arrage your dream. You now have control over your dreams, and you are making things happen, slowing things down, adding new players, erasing the danger. Lately, it seems to me, that this is all life is. Its all a dream. We are all just spiritual beings having a human experience. We are all dreaming, and perhaps the more we become aware of this, the more sway we have in what happens to us.
