its all about me

Ive been learning lately, that the key to opening me up, to learning more about me, to knowing who I am, requires the right questions. I dont spill my guts, I dont justify my actions to every Tom, Dick, and Sally. But I will, and enjoy answering questions that challenge me, make me think, and get me outside of my comfort zone. This is how I connect, how I engage, and how I process. The people I love most in the world, are the ones that care enough to ask me the tough questions, the real questions, the questions that shake shit up. Without these people I would not go down the scary path of my fears, as my brain loves to stay in la-la land. Safe zone. Rainbows and chocolates and unicorns. But with the saftey of loved ones, who care enough to ask me questions, I willingly and enthusaistically explore the deepness and darkness of my soul. So to all my friends; continue asking questions, challenge me, get me thinking, you are essential to my journey.

I have been going through perhaps the most challenging time of my life, and because of it's sensitive nature, I have yet to blog about it. I fill this blog up with everything else in my life. All my joy, all my happiness, all the silliness. These are the feelings I focus on, want more of, and feel fortunate to be experiencing. However sometimes, when I need to cry, I put on Fleet Foxes - He Does Not Know Why, go into the forest, and listen to 1:44 - 3:22, and just give it all away.

Have you seen Givenchy's Fall 2001 rtw collection? Wow. All I can say is; Inspired. Black cats, leather, just the right amount of frills, pin ups! This collection has it all. Honestly it's so quirky and fun, see through cut outs, and just look at those skirts! I love it. It's not even summer and I got excited about Fall. Oh and did I mention the panther hats! I want one.
